i dont wanna hear that NO MORE!!!

i'm fed up for real. a bunch of people out there talking about the south and how we killing hip hop and the industry. but when someone wants to do something other than the norm down here, we're told to sound more southern or that i'm too lyrical? what the hell? what you think the south is? we aint gettin no respect. that aint cool for real. i try to come with something new out here and as many of the supporters i got, i got haters too. i mean, the supporters outnumber the haters by alot but they dont hate on me per say most of the time. they speak out against what i represent. they tell me i should rap like i'm from the south...what does that mean exactly!?!?!? should i dumb down my lyrics. like, the southern stereotype is crazy. should i make that club anthem and just start doing club songs. that aint the only thing the south has to offer. we're diverse!!!! its just dumb ass people like the person that approached me that doesnt want to see that change. so when people say that the south has no substance or that we're killing hiphop, know that there are people out here trying to do something different but its not being accepted that easily

that feeling i got....damn...

before i begin, i have to say a disclaimer...
(Biased opinion from a true KanYe West fan...lol)
i'm not going to lie, I've seen Jay in concert but, Kanye? Out of the people I've seen, nobody has topped his stage performance. Yeah he might have messed up on the BET Awards but, with his own music, lol he's the illest. He didnt need not one other person on stage with him to hype up the performance any further. That is very RARE to see now. NO hype man, no nothing. This concert changed my whole perspective of performing all together....ish brought a tear to my eye, no bull...

Also with the Young Buck crying issue...First, I gotta say, 50 cent was wrong as hell for doing that. For real. He lost cool points....if we still distribute those....

soulja boy vs ice t???

ice t goes hard on soulja boy. ice t need to sit his hatin ass down. lol. i like soulja boy! dont lie like yall wasnt crankin that soulja boy!!! nah, but for real. like, all hip hop serves its purpose. and he aint garbage. people just dont like what he represents. that watered down hip hop. but when ur at a party and wanna dance, his songs serve its purpose. so no hating over here. i cant understand people being mad at the imbalance in hiphop but dont be mad at people serving their purpose. now if you think its just super wack music, speak on it!

soulja boy had to reply of course! dont blame him...

then k.west comes thru on his blog and sides with Soulja Boy, this is what he said....

KANYE WEST SAYS...

I AIN'T GOT NOTHING AGAINST ICE T OR NOBODY FOR THAT MATTER BUT I GOTTA RIDE WITH SOULJA BOY..
Soulja boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is sposed to be. He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain't helping Hip Hop then what is? A bunch of wannabe keep it real rappers that ain't even relevant, recycling samples trying to act like it's 96 again and all they do is hate on new shit? Niggas always talk about the golden age but for a 13 year old kid, this is the golden age!!! That song was so dope cause everything he said had a hidden meaning... that's Nas level shit... he just put it over some steel drums which is also some Nas shit if you had the 2nd album cassette with the bonus track "Silent Murder" on it. In closing... new niggas get ya money$$$$$$$$$$$ Keep this shit fresh and original.... ain't no fuckin' rules to this shit and that's what real hip hop is to me.p is to me.

New Sidekick

So my homie HD informed me that there was a new sidekick in the works. Me being an owner of the old sidekick 3, I wanna see whats up. I would get the LX but I don't want to. I was going to leave the sidekick and get the wing, but people told me it sucked. So....the new sidekick is called "sidekick gekko/aspen" They will probably either go with gekko or aspen. Anyways, here's a screenshot.
I don't really even know what the new features are for this one. But there are also rumors of new features being given to the LX in an update. It's supposed to allow video recording and maybe being able to view youtube videos. Here's a screenshot.

A lil update...

So, I haven't spoken on how i feel about different people and the whole hip hop scene in awhile. Not even on myspace. So, I've been getting alot of positive feedback on my music. And for the people leaving me that love on myspace or youtube, I APPRECIATE YOU ALL! Seriously.

But, I've been seeing alot of people want to be a "rapper". It's getting a lil over concentrated. Na mean? To the point where its like, someone tells you they rap, and you don't even want to listen. But I got love and I show love. If you show me love, I have love to give back cause buried underneath the thousands of wack myspace, soundclick, spityogame, and imeem pages, there really are some good artists out there. One of my pet peeves is when people JUST rap on a track. Just spit. And they're not worried about the song as a whole. I'm a fan of any good music. I dont care if your yodeling on a track. As long as you're crashing it. Na mean? But I've been hearing some music where people have the same vibe on every track, same rhyming scheme, same subjects, no subjects...its wack to me. I mean, but everyone has to do what they do. Everyone has their opinions.

People think if you dont like they're music, you're hating. I dont think that's true. I'm like, if you don't like my music, you don't like it. I'm not going to say "You're just a hating ass b*tch!" lmao. It aint even like that. But I do take people's opinion and try to grow from it. Only thing is, I've hardly ever had negative comments on my music. I think I've had one person and they told me that I needed to rap more "southern". No thank you.

What else...I used to really dislike some of these club rappers and stuff saying they're killing hip hop and stuff but I realized, you really need that balance. You need that type of music to dance to and what not. I just rather not hear it sooooo much on the radio, that's all.

Well, I think that's it for now. I see this blog has run a lil long, so I'll spare you...

youngin'

This weekend, I planned on hitting up a party hosted by my homies at Central Booking who are based in D-Town. I went all the way to Westhiemer in Houston where it was at and they wouldnt let me in. It was a 21 year old and up type event. I'm only 19. They made my ass feel young. lol. Oh well, I'll catch them next time. Shout out to my homie Select! He could have got me in, but I left. Womp womp womp
I'll keep ya'll posted on Houston "Central Booking-The Party" events!!!
Here's a video from one of their shindigs...
